How Parker Vinequip Started
Eddie Parker spent years in the mining industry overseas before returning to Blenheim in 2015. What drew him in wasn't the wine — it was the machinery. The scale, the variety, and the challenge of adapting equipment to Marlborough's unique conditions was something he couldn't ignore.
In 2021, he launched Parker Vinequip with a clear purpose: build a business around helping people and solving problems — whether that's a harvester mid-season or a custom build from scratch.
Today, Parker Vinequip is a team of four, running a full workshop in Blenheim and getting out into the field across all of Marlborough.Our Team
Eddie Parker
Eddie's favourite part of the job is getting out in the field — diagnosing something nobody else could figure out, or designing a custom piece of gear from scratch. He started Parker Vinequip because he wanted to build something that actually helped people, not just turn wrenches for a paycheque.
When he's not in the workshop, you'll find him on a mountain bike, out running, or squeezing in a snowboard day when the season allows.
Owner
Willy
Born and bred in Blenheim, Willie is one of the original Parker Vinequip crew and the face customers see most out in the field. As our primary mechanic, he handles the bulk of technical repairs and is the one most likely to show up when you need help fast.
When he's not under a harvester, you'll find him mountain biking with his wife and mates, spending time with his kids, or dabbling in motorsport.

Maintenance Engineer & FabricatorJohn
Originally from the Philippines, John brings sharp problem-solving skills and technical precision to the workshop. He specialises in modifying and creating components that extend machine life and improve performance — and thrives on the variety that comes with every job.
Outside of work, John plays and referees basketball and enjoys time with his family.
ApprenticeCharlie
Charlie moved from Hawke's Bay to Blenheim in 2010 and has called Marlborough home ever since. He joined the Parker Vinequip team as an apprentice and has been getting stuck into the variety of work ever since.
When he's not in the workshop, Charlie's out on his motorbike, hunting, fishing, or keeping active.
